Let’s Chill Out and Lighten Up

August 23, 2008

Just how ridiculous will things get before voters who value the founding principles of the United States decide to just tune out and stay home on Election Day!

Where does all the hatred on radio, TV, and the Web come from?  Is decreasing voter turn-out the goal of the campaigns?

The next two weeks will be brimming with partisan smears with the two major conventions being held.  November can’t come soon enough, but until then:

I couldn’t agree with you more. It seems that half of the voters in this country don’t know what the candidates really stand for because they are buried under the hype of the candidates attacking and smearing each other.

The second half of the voters know just enough to be dangerous with their vote, if they even cast one.

And the third half, who are the only one’s who really know what’s going on, will probably get so tired of it all that they stay home on election day. Wait — that’s THREE halfs, isn’t it? Does that add up right? Only in election-day math.

Great cartoons. I posted a link on identi.ca to some absolutely hysterical t-shirts too. Always good to keep a sense of humor in these things.

Election Day math – that’s so funny, Joe!

Glad you liked the cartoons, Karoli. I’ll go check out the hysterical t-shirts you linked on identi.ca so I can laugh some more.

It’s great to know at least two people with a healthy sense of humor! Thanks for your good cheer.
